We comb our premium cotton fibres to give our towels the purest finish and a softness that is unbeatable. The extra-long fibre with less joins means it’s smoother and stronger, making these towels more durable and longer lasting. They will get fluffier and softer with each wash.

Often chemicals are added to towels during production to make them feel softer, but this intern affects absorbency. Starting with the best organic cotton available means that our towels are naturally soft, and no nasty chemical additives are needed to artificially achieve this feel. Our towels proudly carry the GOTs certification to reassure you of this. Keeping our towels as pure as possible is not only better for your skin, health, and the environment, but it also means that your towel will be incredibly absorbent.

We recommend washing separately before your first use.  This improves the absorbency of your towels.

You can add a fabric conditioner to the final rinse for softness, however use sparingly, as fabric softeners will reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles.

Gentle cycle machine wash in cool to warm water (no hotter than 40° C). 

It is recommended that your towels are washed at least once a week, and are dried completely between each use.

We recommend using a natural plant based laundry detergent; while we do not recommend using bleaching agents, when needed use non-chlorine bleach, so avoid turning organic cotton yellow and weakening the fibres.

Line-drying in the shade is ideal for the environment as well as leaving your towels outdoor-fresh. They can also be tumble-dried on cool-warm setting.  We recommend airing it while slightly damp to give your towels the ultimate softness.  

Direct sunlight for long periods – will cause fading or yellowing over time.

Our Aegean cotton towels, have been manufactured from the best organic cotton available, - treated properly they will remain fluffy and absorbent for longer than non-organic cotton.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) was developed by leading standard setters to define world-wide recognised requirements for organic textiles. From the harvesting of the raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing to labelling, textiles certified to GOTS provide a credible assurance to the consumer.All parts of the process must be certified. From the growers, all parts of the manufacturing, storage and supply chain.  Product must be produced using fair trade labour.  Production must be keep separate from non-organic production through our the whole process to avoid contamination and any dyes used must be biodegradable.
